I am a PhD candidate at the Autonomous University of Barcelona under the supervision of Silvia De Bianchi and co-supervision of Giuliano Torrengo. Before my PhD, I spent visiting periods abroad in Lithuania (Vilniaus universitetas) and in Barcelona (Universitat de Barcelona). In 2018, under the supervision of Vincenzo Crupi and Giuliano Torrengo, I obtained my master’s degree at the University of Turin discussing a thesis titled “Did Time and World begin? Contemporary philosophical Perspectives” in which I examined conceptual problems connected with the idea of an origin of the universe or of time itself. Currently I am working on my dissertation, exploring time-related issues that arise when we suppose that the universe had (or did not have) a beginning. Also, I am a member of the ERC project PROTEUS, within which I also work on issues related with different models of the origins of the world.

I am also interested in the history and philosophy of physics. In particular, I have worked on philosophical interpretations of quantum mechanics from a historical perspective and I co-edited a special issue for the HOPOS journal that investigates the philosophical and mathematical underpinnings of cosmology.
